Refund Policy - Oil Collection Service
Overview
At Oil Collector.online we are committed to providing a door to door pick up collection for used household oil and taking them to the waste recycling for our customers. The refund policy and procedures outlines our terms for collection fees and service charges.
Collection Service Refunds
Successful Collection
No refunds are provided once waste household cooking oil has been successfully collected from your location as the service collection fee is in the price.
Sameday cancellation fee of £5 maybe be deducted from refund as a penalty fee. Sameday cancellation MUST be notified by email before 6am.
Full Refund Provided When:
A scheduled collection appointment cannot be fulfilled by oil collector, if collection cannot be rearranged e.g due to mitagating circumstances or unsafe weather conditions.
A business emergency prevents collection.
Extreme weather conditions that make collection unsafe
No Refund issued – When collection is rejected:
We will NOT collect items that are:
In unacceptable conditions
Household oil not in original bottle.(Repackaged in different containers)
Any other oil apart from used household cooking oil.
Oil bottle leaking, or oil bottle is not clean free of oil
Contaminated or damaged packaging
Access denied by customer on collection day

No oil to collect /Not avaliable for collection: if oil is not available for collection at scheduled time for pick up the service collection fee will still be charged and collected as a call out charge fee for traveling to the location of £10.
