Q: What if I've put oil in another bottle other than original bottle it came in? A: Oil must be in original bottle to be accepted for collection.

Q: What happens to my oil once you take it? A: The oil that is taken from customers is handed over to the local refuge recycling to be reycled responsibly. 

Q: Can I get a refund if you determine items aren't suitable for collection? A: No, collection fees are for the pickup service regardless of final recycling outcome.

Q: What happens if I'm not home during collection? A: Payment will still be taken for the service fee and call out to come out to specified location.  

Q: Do you provide refunds for items that are not collected? A: Our service is collection and taking to the waste recycling centre. If item/s are not in appropate bottles it will not be collected and the fee will be deemed based on staff coming out to collect from your location.  

Q: Can I get a partial refund if only some items are collected? A: Fees are per collection visit. If some items are collected, full collection fee applies. But is under the decison of the manager.

Q: How can I get a refund? A: Contact local@oilcollector.online by email, leave your name, surname, date of collection and ltr selected.

Q: Where are you located? A: Oil Collector is online.

Q:Can I leave Oil Bottles outside on my porch, if not at home? A: No, I strongly advise this as weather conditions (heatwaves/high temperatures) in summer can cause hazardous situations such as potential fires.
Another senarios such as wild animals (foxes etc) can tamper with bottles due to scent of cooking oil.

Q: How do I pay for my collection service? A: Payments are made by card only and accepts mastercard, apple pay, visa debit.

Q: What if I want to cancel my collection? A: You can cancel your service collection by sending a text message “CANCEL PICK UP”  48+ before your scheduled collection to (07303120912) with your name and surname postcode, Litres you paid for and date of booking. It will take 14-30 days to see refund processed into your account.
